Closing a Lead

To Close a Lead:

1. Click on "Leads" in the main navigation bar.
2. Find the appropriate Lead and click on it to open the Lead Dashboard.
3. Locate the Status panel on the right side of the screen and select the pencil icon to the right of the heading. 
4. In the drop down menu that appears, select "Close Lead". 
5. In the panel that appears, select the applicable reason for closing the lead
6. Confirm this by clicking "Close Lead Now".

Once Leads are closed, you can search for them on the Leads Main Section Overview page in the "Advanced Search" area by selecting "Closed" in the "With Status" field.

Need to change your "Close Lead" reason?  
You can add reasons easily! First, click Settings, then under "Application" select "Auto-Archiving Events & Closing Leads". From there you can click the "+" sign to add more reasons. They will then show up when you are ready to close a lead or event!
