Why is my Lead not Showing in my Lead Pipeline?

When it comes to our Leads tool, you can view your leads a few different ways: Card View, List View, and Pipeline View.

The Pipeline View is a great way to manage your leads and see where each one is in your sales process. Leads are organized by the pipeline steps you’ve set up, helping you quickly understand their current status. Need to edit your Pipeline steps? You can easily do so by clicking Setup, then Sales Pipeline. Here, you can add, remove, rename, and reorder your pipeline steps.

However, if your account has a large number of leads (especially 100+), it can sometimes be tricky to locate the newest ones. This usually happens because of how filters and pagination work together in the system.

Here’s how it works:

  • Filters determine which leads you see and the order they appear in (for example, by event date, captured date, etc.).

  • Pagination breaks the filtered list into pages to help with loading times and performance. So if your filters are set to show oldest event date first, your newest leads may appear on page 2 (or later) instead of at the top of the first page.

  • Pipeline steps then organize the leads into their respective stages. Because of this order, a new lead might not appear on the first page if your filters show oldest first or if the lead hasn’t yet reached the first page of the filtered list.

Here’s What to Do if You Aren’t Seeing Your New Leads Right Away

  1. Click Advanced Search to create a new filter.

  2. Edit the fields you want to filter by. To see your newest leads first, select Captured Date (Descending) in the Sorted By field.

  3. Click Search and Save as Quick View to add this filter to the Quick View panel on the left.

    • Optional: You can also make this your default view by selecting Search and Save.

  4. After saving, the page will reload and reorder your leads based on the new filters. Your newest leads should now appear on the first page.
